If possible, you should try to get as much work experience as you can before your interview.
There are also some practice interview questions on the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) website.
Look at the 'interactive interview' and read the other tips. You should also take time to read through forums at the TES website to familiarise yourself with current issues in the profession. The interactive interview offers examples of the types of questions offered generally and of course you will be asked different questions in your interview, but this will give you an idea of what types of things you should be thinking about.
However, work experience in a classroom is still the most valuable thing you can do, as this will give you examples to use in your interview to illustrate your answers.
Successful applicants are sent an information pack approximately 2 weeks before their interview date to help them prepare for the day
